Here is another figure from my Lord of The Rings collection...its a 12" figure of the Witchking Ringwraith...This is one of my favourite characters from the Lord of the Rings Franchise...I find this character quite scary but cool at the same time heheh...rugged kali ah semua hitam ehhehe...
This is the packaging that the figure comes in, once again I quite like the concept of an open leaf box, whatever you call it heheh and the Ring showing a glimpse of the figure...More pictures shown on the packaging...apparently this figure comes with "Authentically Styled Fabric outfit and accessories...The back packaging showing the illustration of the figure...The actual figure itself....it looks awesome...!!!How I wish they made an equivalent size of the beast to match this figure...it would be really cool...imagining it being displayed in my room ehehhehhe....

Hi again...this is some of the figures from my Lord of the Rings collection...I am a massive fan of the movie and for me the best movie was the last one, The Return of the King. These figures are under the Fellowship of the Ring toyline and it includes the the ring beares of the One Ring...Bilbo, Gollum and Frodo.
What attracted me to get this figures was because they way that they were represented...in Twilight mode...featuring all figures being Translucent...although remembering roughly it was only Frodo who appeared to have gone in Twilight mode during the movie...none the less couldnt resist adding it into my figures collection...At the price of 8 quid for these figures, I think it is a reasonable value..and its more expensive when you buy them individually..The only drawback in my opinion of these figures is that due to the translucent nature of the figures, I dont really like the way that the figures body frame is seen...I havent taken them out of the box yet, but from what I have seen from the joints, I say there is a considerable amount of articulation for these figures...which makes it for better posing positions for display...
Stay tune for more Lord of the Rings figures..:)

Soundwave Commemorative Edition...

Hello again...This is my G1 Soundwave Commemorative Edition. Soundwave has always been one of my favorite characters in Transformers. I find it cool that it Transforms into a cassette player. This is why when the ROTF movie came out, I was bit disappointed that Soundwave only had a small role in the movie considering what a great character he is in the cartoon series.
I first had the chance to own G1 Soundwave while I was holidaying in Kota Kinabalu Sabah, found an encore G1 Soundwave by Takara Tomy sold at the KK Toys shop. I didnt buy it straight away as I wanted to do some browsing first and decided to buy it the next day. Unfortunately KK Toys doesnt open on Sundays during that time and I was leaving that Sunday evening..I was devastated and could only curse myself. Luckily I was given another chance to own this awesome character as Hasbro launched a Commemorative Edition of Soundwave and this time I didnt think twice. As expected this figure is awesome.

This figure comes with Laserbeak and Ravage which both is Transformable into the cassettes as seen in the cartoon series. They also come with a cassette case to store both of them. This is one of the parts of the figure that I find really amazing.
Anyways I got Soundwave for around 35 quid and I consider myself lucky as today, browsing through Ebay, the price of this figure is ranging around 50 to 70 quid. There might be some cheap ones out there but it is hard to find. I sure recommend people to get Soundwave.

Yesterday I decided to go searching for toys and so I went to the nearest Toys R Us. When I went there lucky me it was still on sale even though its been a week after christmas...heheh fyi after three years in the UK, I still dont know when the major sales are:p Anyways I spent about 45mins in the store at first just browsing through the stuff that TRU had to offer..
The Transformers from the animated, revenge of the fallen and universe toyline were on sale also but most of them were the ones that Ive had already or were not interested in buying. Although I have to say Ultra class from the Transformers Universe toyline at 15 quid was quite cheap as it was around 30-35 quid before. Sorry couldnt take any more pictures of the store heheh this TRU personnel was looking at me in a suspicious way so I just carried on with my browsing...In the end I got myself these toys...two GI Joe Rise of the Cobra figures and Transformers Combiner Class Superion from the Revenge of the Fallen toyline, though it didnt appear in the movie. Apart from these purchases, I also got an Austin Mini Cooper Keychain, but not from TRU, its from M&S. I had the chance to complete my main characters from the GI Joe movie, but I didnt get it because the Superion was just too hard to resists...heheh I imagined it in my head displaying it together with my Bruticus that I have back at home...hehehhe
Anyways stay tune for more posts on January purchases...:)
