Another airplane...this time a Boeing 767-300ER, the same type of aircraft that RBA uses for its long haul flights which is now to be replaced with the 777-200ER...anyways this is All Nippon Airways, Japan's second largest air carrier just behind JAL (Japan Airlines). This one is in a special livery of the creatures of the ocean...
All Nippon Airways is famous for its unique livery...they have the Pokemon livery on two of their 747 jumbos, a Panda livery on its boeing 767-300ER to commemorate the 20th anniversary of services between Japan and China, and two gold 737s to name a few...this one here as mentioned above has the creatures of the ocean theme...where the whole fuselage is decorated like the body of a whale with a couple of other creatures also included...
Very nice detailing on the engine..If Im not mistaken, ANA have a tendency in using Rolls Royce engines...
Just an outline of a whale with the All Nippon Airways text on the side...
The other creatures that are also painted on the airplane..
The tailfin, which also shows an illustration of the Whale's tail...

Much more review on airplanes to come....till then...

Another Airbus...

Hello again...another post...another airplane....another Airbus..this time its the Airbus A340-300 of Switzerland national carrier, Air Swiss...been to Switzerland before, very nice country but very expensive country to live in...anyways I got this from my sister who was working there few years ago...this model is actually made by Dragon Wings, one of the companies specialising in the manufacture of commercial aviation airplane models...The A340-300 is a shorter version of the A340-600 and if Im not mistaken was designed to compete with the Boeing 777-200ER in the continuing battle between Airbus and Boeing...I was told that the first A340-300 put into service was for Singapore Airlines in 1996, however they put them in service..
The famous Swiss Air livery on the side of the fuselage..the paint job on Swiss Air aircrafts is quite simple, red and white, the official colour of the national flag of Switzerland
The logo is also placed on each of the engines...

The tailfin carrying the Swiss National flag..
This is one thing that I like about airplanes, the wing tip...
Few statistics on the A340-300..

More airplanes...

Hello again...finally back to blogging...been away for some time as had my final year exams for my degree...im glad thats all done now and ive made my effort in trying to do as best as i can...im just going to tawakal....anyways been reading the news about our national carrier, Royal Brunei Airlines leasing 6 777-200ER from Singapore Airlines, personally Im really glad to hear the news as its about time we get a proper wide body airplane....anyhows would like to mark my return to blogging with another one of my airplane collections....This is the limited edition Virgin Atlantic Airlines Airbus A340-600, the current longest airplane in the world that is up until the Boeing 747-8 came along....from the picture above, I just love the packaging for this model, a metallic tin with the Virgin Atlantic wordings on it...
Opening the package, the first thing that was brought to my attention once I opened the casing was the piece of card with the Virgin Atlantic logo..
When I got this of ebay a few years ago, I had no idea it was a limited edition with only 7000 pieces worldwide as stated on the card...it also has Sir Richard Branson's signature, owner of Virgin Atlantic and a signature from the company that manufactures this model, Gemini Jets.
The pic below shows the motto that Airbus developed and was retained by Virgin Atlantic when they began their A340-600 service.."4 engines 4 long haul"

The famous Scarlet Lady carrying the Union Jack flag, an illustration by British artist, Ken White.

More airplanes to come in the future.....:)

Hello..another post....this is my next project once all my exams are done....a 1/144 Gundam kit that I got in February....its the RX-78-2' Gundam E.F.S.F. Protoype Close Combat Mobile-Suit...this is my first 1/144 Gundam and its been a while since ive been building Gundam model kits...
This is a High Grade class Gundam, cant wait for the Real Grade to come out...

The RX-78-2 one of the most famous Gundam characters..
Yep, originally it was 19.99, reduced to 7.99, more than half price...a real bargain...

I am planning this time to make this kit perfect, complete with detailing and stuff...maybe getting it a display case and a display base....

The wordings on the box compared to the ones in the Asian Market is all in English....

Cant wait to start on this project...cant wait to get all these exams done...

Hello again...another post...more action figures....this time its Harry Potter from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie franchise....anyways got this figure last year, quite a bargain at 6pounds from ebay...I quite enjoy watching Harry Potter movies but only started reading the books from the 5th title...
This is series 3 of the figures from the movie....
Again this is produced by Neca....in my opinion Neca is a great company in making 6-7" inch figures...the effort in detailing that they made is excellent...

Other figures from the third series that you can get...not interested in collecting them....might collect Hermione and Ron to complete the trio of wizards/witches.
Yep this is the only accessory that is given with the figure.....a base stands, wand and prophecy orb
Harry Potter ready for action..!!!
Unfortunately the amount of articulation for this figure is limited, so the number of poses that you can do is also limited....nonetheless it looks excellent the way it is...
I like the thing that they did with the prophecy orb...it fits perfectly in the grips of the hand and looks realistic...
I say in my opinion, the likeliness to Daniel Radcliffe is there and kudos to Neca for making an excellent figure.....
