Hello again....finally another 1/6 figure...it is the sideshow collectables figure from the comedy/zombie movie, Shaun of the Dead...this is Ed, one half of the zombie killing duo...hehe to those of u who are not familiar with Shaun of the dead, its a movie like 28 days later but the comedy version, I recommend that you should watch it...its quite funny...

Sideshow collectibles, sadly this is not the exclusive one...although I was told that there is only a minor difference in the accessories for the exclusive version...

I got this figure way back in February, was planning to get Shaun in March, but sadly when I went to forbidden planet again, it was all snapped up..sniff...sniff...
A synopsis of the movie..

A short bio on Ed, Shaun's best friend..
Tadaa.....the actual figure itself...as usual still sealed in the box...now packed in a box with my other collections ready to be shipped back home...yep Im done with my degree now...

The resemblance with the actual character from the movie I say is quite good but not excellent...maybe a score of 7/10..
The accessories...first you have a vinyl record (above), the ones that they used in the first few scenes while trying to fend themselves from 2 zombies...
A shovel..the weapon that they used successfully to kill the zombies hehehe
A snooker cue...
This I like, they took the trouble in making a packet of cigarettes...
A cell phone...from the research that Ive done, the exclusive version has one extra accessory, that is a Cornetto Ice cream...
The only complaint that Ive got for this figure, the way they stuffed the body with some sort of material to make the figure look fat...my suggestion...why not try making a fat figure...hot toys..????

Another Transformers character from the Masterpiece line up...this is from Hasbro...to those of you who might have remembered from one of my earliest posts, I have made a post on the transformers Masterpiece that I have in my collection..and Skywarp was one of them...anyways Ive decided to get another one for two reasons, 1) so that i could display it up in both robot and jet mode and 2) it was a real bargain for a Masterpiece Transformers at 20pounds....
Amongst the three jet characters in the Masterpiece series (Skywarp, Starscream and Thundercracker) the paint job I prefer the most is the Masterpiece Starscream that I have made a post on a few months ago...to me Skywarp is second, but that might change once the Ghost Starscream becomes available heheh...
From the looks of the figure in robot mode as well as jet mode, the amount of detailing is amazing...the thing that i like the most is the moveable flaps on the wings as well as the hidden missiles in the chest area...
This Masterpiece Skywarp is part of the 25th anniversary toyline of Transformers...

Still havent got the chance yet of the additions to the TF family...

Transformers, Legends Class Devastator

Another post...been really slacking off from updating my blog...nervously waiting for my results now...will be out next week....=S anyways here is another Transformers in my collection...it is the Legends Class Devastator, Hasbro version, if im not mistaken for Takara Tomy they call it EZ collections i think....correct me if im wrong...got this devastator in February and was really impressed with the detailing that this figure has..
In my opinion to be honest, I find this version better than the large devastator...this figure for a whole lot of cheaper price is more worth it than the large one as for this one you can transform the vehicles into their robot mode individually unlike the large devastator....yes I have to admit it might be small but the quality is excellent for the legends class..

As you can see here from the headsculpt, in my opinion there is more similarity to the Devastator from the movie...although a better paint job would have made it much more better...

Also the difference between the Large Devastator and this is that for the large supreme combiner class they have 6 vehicles whereas for the legends class there is a 7th vehicle which is Overload who forms the back of Devastator...
I love the way they included the devastator logo on top here...

hehehhe not that clever Devastator heheheheh...
Managed to get a couple of new TFs...will be posting them up in the near future.....
